Event Team

JOB OVERVIEW

At YOM we spark joy in our communities though ice cream and our Event Team is an essential part of this mission. If you are an energetic and fun-loving individual we’d love to have you on the Team! Event Team members connect with and distribute ice cream to customers and are responsible for the prep, set up, and break down of event materials.

CORE CHARACTERISTICS

  • Reliable work with flexible scheduling: work the hours and days that best fit your schedule
  • Compensation
    • $16-18 / hr + tips for events
    • Tips: typically $5-15 / hr for events
  • Location: Indoor and outdoor locations in the greater Metro Atlanta area, primarily at farmers markets, festivals, conventions, and more
  • Attention to detail with a focus on customer engagement 
  • Ability to stand for a 4-8 hour shift, move an ice cream push cart short distances 
  • Bonus if you are able to transport event materials using a personal vehicle with a trailer hitch and a provided cargo carrier (not required for this position)
